Return & Exchange Policy (ONLINE ONLY)
All returns must be within a 30 day window from the original purchase with tags still attached and accompanied by a receipt for proof of purchase. Returns can be started on our Contact Us Page
The Blue Light Boutique reserves the right to decline purchased returns where merchandise does not have a manufacturing defect but has been damaged by the customer or to prevent fraud or abuse.
Once your return request is approved, you will receive an email from our customer service team with the return address to ship your return back to us. Please note that all return shipping expenses are the responsibility of the customer. Upon receiving our returned item, your return request will be processed. You will receive a confirmation email from us that your return refund process has been started. Please note shipping charges will not be refunded.
If a return is received that does not meet our Return Policy requirements — such as items worn, damaged, missing tags, or outside of the 30-day window — the package will be documented and returned to the customer. Returned merchandise must be free of perfume, smoke odor, deodorant marks, makeup stains, pet hair, and signs of wear. Items returned in unsellable condition will be refused and sent back to the customer. No refund will be issued for items that do not comply with our policy.
Please be aware that return requests may take up to seven to twelve business days to be approved by certain bank providers, as well as may take a few days to show up in your account. Packages sent without prior return approval or to an incorrect address may be refused and returned to sender.
Blue Light Boutique is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged return packages while in transit. We recommend using a trackable shipping service.
Our Return Policy is set in place to protect our small business but also to protect our customers.
Giftcards and Merchandise Credits are not returnable.
EXCHANGE POLICY:
To start an exchange, please follow the same process as a return by visiting our Contact Us Page. In your message, please include the size you are looking to exchange for.
If the requested size is available, we’ll be happy to complete the exchange. Please note that we must receive the original item you are sending back before shipping out the new size. Once your return item has been received and inspected, we will ship the requested size and notify you via email with tracking information and any other necessary details regarding your exchange.
This process is in place to protect our small business and ensure a smooth exchange experience for all of our customers.
RETURN POLICY FOR POP UP EVENTS: (REFUNDS & EXCHANGES)
Purchases made in person at pop-up shops, vendor markets, festivals, private events, or any Blue Light Boutique hosted event are subject to a separate return policy from online purchases.
Due to the nature of event shopping, customers are able to view merchandise in person prior to purchase; however, fitting room availability may be limited or unavailable.
Returns for pop-up purchases are accepted within 7 days of purchase for exchange or refund to the original form of payment when applicable.
Cash purchases are eligible for exchange only.
Credit or debit card purchases may be eligible for a refund to the original payment method or exchange, subject to approval and inspection of merchandise.
All items must be unworn, unwashed, free of odors or stains, with original tags attached, and accompanied by proof of purchase.
Refunds and exchanges are not guaranteed and are subject to inventory availability and final approval upon inspection.
Blue Light Boutique reserves the right to deny any return or exchange request that does not meet these requirements.
RETURN POLICY FOR SWIMWEAR:
Thank you for choosing our swimwear! Please note that all sales are final, and we do not accept returns or exchanges on swimwear for hygiene reasons.
